We have partnered with neurovascular start up Rapid Medical since 2019 and have helped them to build their US sales team as they commercialise their brain aneurism and Ischemic stroke treatments. Working closely with CEO Ronen Eckhouse, he was keen to add an industry heavyweight to his leadership team through an appointment of VP Global Marketing. Through a global search, VIDA secured Emily Richardson in 2020. Emily’s role will be to set up the marketing function for Rapid in the US from scratch, creating go-to market plans and building engagement in the neuro community. The partnership is ongoing, and further commercial hires are planned throughout 2021 and beyond.

Rapid Medical - US Team Build and VP Marketing


Founded in 2005, Procyrion are developing a technology to aid the treatment of heart failure. Their innovative first in class device is still in early-stage development and VIDA have partnered with them since 2018 to give them access to clinical talent. Working closely with CEO Eric Fain and Beth Neely, VIDA have successfully hired numerous field clinical engineers including team lead John Hurt. John's team will be responsible for advising, monitoring, and completing the clinical trial activities across their investigational sites. Most recently VIDA have secured an industry leading chief cardiac surgeon to join the business as consultant Medical Director and advisor.

Procyrion – Clinical Team


OrthoGrid Systems Inc, who are on a mission to digitally transform intraoperative orthopedic and musculoskeletal surgery, engaged with VIDA in late 2020. Working closely with the founder and CEO, Edouard, we have so far closed off two successful searches for a Global Upstream Marketing Manager, Romain Faury, and Director Product Development, Dusty Needham. Romain’s role will be to build the go-to-market and strategic plans for their AI powered surgical platforms and Dusty will be taking a leadership position overseeing the software and device development teams to bring their innovation pipeline to life. Both bring with them expertise gained in global medical devices corporations.

Orthogrid – Senior Leadership Search Project


JenaValve is a clinical-stage Medtech company developing the first transcatheter heart valve technology that is uniquely designed for the minimally invasive treatment of both severe aortic regurgitation and stenosis. VIDA had been talking with Jenavalve throughout 2020 and were best placed to recruit two Senior Field Clinical Specialists in q4 2020. Working closely with Connie Correa-Thomson, Head of HR, to define the best strategy for accessing clinical talent, Sean Dineen and Joseph Guerro have both now joined the business and will play a key role in the monitoring of clinical trials across sites in the US and supporting physicians on cases as they move to further develop their TAVR solution.

Jenavalve - Clinical Hires to support global trials


Keystone Heart, a Venus Medtech Company are a structural heart company who have developed the TriGuard device for cerebal embrolic protection during TAVR procedures. VIDA’s relationship with Keystone goes back to 2018 through the placement of David Breant into a EMEA Sales Director position. Working closely with David in Europe, and Steve Sandweg in the USA, VIDA have successfully supported their commercial and clinical scale up with multiple Therapy Development, Market Development and Clinical hires in Europe and expanding our solutions to include hires in the USA in late 2020. These hires will play a key role in the launch and commercialisation of the TriGuard device.

Keystone Heart – EMEA Director and Team Build


VIDA have partnered with Abiomed in Europe for over 5 years delivering multiple hires at Director, Global Director, and European level across sales, clinical and medical affairs. This relationship began long before the first hire and continues today as a result of the continued value VIDA offer to Abiomed. Our insight and experience in the market, along with additional solutions such as our “Market Insight” proposition has enabled Abiomed to build its European team and accelerate the commercialisation for the full Impella portfolio. Working closely with Lisa Brede, Talent Acquisition Manager, Europe & APAC we are integral to their ability to access structural heart talent in Europe.
